Un peu plus sur moi
For over three decades, I have walked alongside people during the most profound transitions of life—birth and death. As a seasoned doula, somatic practitioner, transformational coach, and interspiritual minister, my calling has always been to support others through the extraordinary terrain of change. I specialize in meeting people at the thresholds—those liminal spaces where consciousness has the opportunity to shift and something within begins to stir.
Whether through the perinatal period, the dying or grieving process, or any of the life challenges that arise in the lives of mothers, I hold space for what is raw, real, and deeply human. I believe these moments offer us the opportunity to surrender to intuitive processes and discover the profound meaning waiting within them. My work has been shaped by lived experience as well as a lifelong commitment to learning. I've borne witness to both triumph and trauma, accompanying people through the "undoable"—the moments when life asks more than we think we have the capacity to give. These journeys have taught me that true transformation often comes from radical surrender, not through resisting what we cannot change with will alone.
I am a mother of four, a cancer survivor, and a proud Gen X woman. I bring a fierce compassion, deep listening, and a storyteller's heart to all I do. I believe in the power of narrative to contribute to the process of transformation and healing, and I am here to uplift, educate, and walk beside you as you integrate your own story from a place of self-compassion and strength.
I am as much a lover of scientific evidence as I am of the workings of Mystery. I tailor my care to meet the informational, comfort, emotional, and spiritual needs (if applicable) of my clients in ways that resonate with them. I value traditions of wisdom and don’t get caught up in dogmas; my approach is one of inclusivity, honoring what serves the person in front of me—whether through research-based practices or the deeper, unspoken truths that emerge in the quiet spaces of healing.

I cannot recommend Lesley enough! From the very beginning, she provided unwavering support, knowledge, and encouragement throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. She truly listened to my wishes and made me feel empowered every step of the way.
During labor, her calming presence and hands-on techniques made all the difference. She applied counterpressure to ease contractions, guided me through deep breathing, and suggested different positions to keep me as comfortable as possible. When things felt overwhelming, her reassuring words kept me focused, and she created a peaceful atmosphere that helped me stay grounded. She instinctively knew what I needed at every stage, making me feel fully supported and cared for.
Even after delivery, she continued to check in, offering guidance and reassurance that made the postpartum transition so much smoother. Her dedication, warmth, and expertise went above and beyond, and I’m incredibly grateful to have had her by my side. If you’re looking for a doula who is not only highly skilled but also deeply compassionate, Lesley is the one!
Gina Cuffaro, VBA2C mother
It was an absolute pleasure to have Lesley by our side during the whole pregnancy process. Highly recommend MotherWit to all new parents.
Vignesh M, Father
Lesley went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I are well prepared to welcome our child into the world (we took her private prenatal classes). She was well versed, punctual and patient with all of our questions and concerns about pre-labor, labor itself and postpartum care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Sia Dassios
I’ve had Lesley as a doula for all three of my births and she’s played a big role, perhaps the biggest role, in my positive birth experiences. She provided sage wisdom, expert pain management techniques and was able to help me navigate fear, doubt and numerous anxieties. There is so much marketed towards us as new parents but the one thing I wouldn’t skip is hiring a doula!
