Hi, I am Brittany! As a mother of two and a passionate birth advocate, I serve as a keeper of all that is sacred in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It is my honor to offer my support and wisdom to you as you walk your sacred journey to motherhood. I am dedicated to facilitating surrender to the birth process, empowering you to let everything unfold as it should, and fostering a profound trust in your body and baby. Together, we can rekindle the deep remembrance you hold of who you are and how you are called to show up. It is my life's honor to sit at the foot of women and devote myself completely to you and your birth.

Testimony(ies)

Words cannot even describe how helpful, informative and reassuring Brittany was during my entire pregnancy and postpartum experience. I was beyond nervous to attempt my VBAC after being told multiple frightening things from OB’s. Brittany is so well informed and guided me every step of the way. I was so lucky to have her support and guidance and I’m happy to say I got my VBAC! (A very pleasant one, at that!)

Thank you Brittany for easing my anxiety, for answering ALL of my millions of questions, and for helping me mentally during and after pregnancy. Beyond grateful for you!

Brittany was an exceptional doula, going above and beyond to ensure we had the best birth experience possible. She’s knowledgeable, organized, thoughtful, and tactful.

Before the birth, she provided two helpful consults and detailed documents covering everything from creating a birth plan to emergency coping strategies and electrolyte drink recipes.

On the big day, Brittany was fully present and prepared with supplies. When we transferred from a homebirth to a hospital (for reasons unrelated to her assistance), her advocacy made a huge difference. She helped us navigate the hospital setting, ensuring our wishes were respected and even sourced helpful supplies like a peanut ball and bed railing, which we would otherwise not known we could do. She also supported my husband in being actively involved, as he wanted.

Afterward, Brittany left thoughtful gifts to aid in our recovery. I was impressed by her attentiveness to the little details, which had a big impact.

We had been hesitating on the photography package and are ultimately so glad we opted to include it. I am grateful to have such artful photos of our child's birth to look back on. I had wondered whether taking pictures might distract her or us but she took them like a ninja, while remaining fully present, and I barely noticed the camera was there.

Her genuine care for women and babies makes her an invaluable asset for any birth.

Brittany is magical. I believe the work she does is so special and incredibly important for women. I think If you're blessed to have crossed paths with her you're in divinely gifted hands!
Before hiring Brittany, I was a nervous wreck. I was hoping for a VBAC, but I couldn’t get prenatal support in my area. I knew how important mindset was for birthing, and I didn't have it in me to do homebirth alone, so sought out a doula. Even after trying to educate myself on physiological birth, vbacs, with videos, books, podcasts, I still carried so much fear. I couldn't even talk about my first birth without sobbing, and doubted I could have a VBAC.
I found a doula named Nancy Marie, who referred me to Brittany, and I’m so grateful she did. Since I lived far away, we started with a video call, and right away, when I heard Brittany speak I felt calmer and more at ease. She made me feel safe, heard, supported, and less afraid. Her energy felt very healing. Even my husband, who was listening in the background, gave me a big thumbs up afterward because he felt so good about her too. Knowing I had someone to support me through the end of pregnancy and come to the hospital if needed was such a relief.
After days of exhausting prodromal labour, I decided to transfer to the hospital. I called Brittany in the middle of the night crying, convinced my VBAC dream was over. She immediately calmed me down and met me there. Having her with me felt like a weight lifted. She helped turn the room into a calm, comforting space with lights and music, guided me through contractions, kept me hydrated, used massage and counter pressure, and advocated for me when I felt vulnerable. we even shared some great, even funny little moments I'll cherish. She truly felt like a sister through it all.
When pushing started, I didn’t think I could do it, I really felt I needed her by my side. I begged for an epidural, a vacuum, anything, but Brittany stayed calm, positive, and encouraging the entire time. In the end, I delivered my 9 lb 6 oz baby vaginally without any of those interventions I thought I wanted! I truly believe that without her, I would have ended up with another C-section. She helped me feel safe enough to relax/progress, trust my body, and do something I never thought I could. I forget to mention, she has beautifully crafted herbal products like teas, oils etc that i absolutely adored.
Thank-you Brittany for everything ️️

Brittany was the most incredible support for my HBAC (home birth after C-section). She supported all of my choices and reminded me of them during the process. Just her presence was incredible. Her insights and wisdom during pregnancy and when I was preparing for the birth was irreplicable. I honestly couldn't have done it without her! Her support also made it so that my family and I could 'just" focus on the birth and not all the other things around it.
She also takes the most beautiful pictures of the birth and newborn stage which we will enjoy looking at forever. To add to all of this she is a wonderful herbalist and has such a great touch for making nourishing teas and healing herbal products.
