A little more about me
Hi, I'm Allison! I am a professionally trained and certified labour doula, postpartum doula, and pre-certified childbirth educator ready to serve you and your family as you navigate parenthood through pregnancy and the postpartum period. My main goal is to instill strength and confidence in growing families.
I am warm and empathetic person, and I have a passion for working with families and babies. I have lots of past experience working with families and their little ones.
Each baby and birthing experience is unique. It is my priority to provide my clients with support that is unbiased, non-judgemental and tailored to their specific needs. I want clients to understand the options they have and help guide them in making the best choices for their family.
I live in Gatineau with my “college sweetheart” Tyler, our sweet twin boys and a pretty kitty named Ellie. When I’m not working with families, you can find me snuggling my babies, knitting or sewing, streaming a good TV show or enjoying warm weather outdoors - half the year at least!

I had an unusual and unexpected birth experience with my second son. He was born at 28 weeks and 6 days and he had a long NICU stay. I was so thankful to have Allison's support and since things didn't go as expected, I needed it so much more than I thought I would! She was there immediately for the recovery after birth and was able to foresee things I would need and to encourage me. She sat with me many times while I held my son in NICU and gave me the guidance and advice I needed. I can't recommend her services enough. My favourite thing about Allison is her very calm and warm personality and approach. I'm so thankful I had the support.
