A little more about me
I have been serving families during their reproductive journeys for thirty years, and I’ve worked in women’s health for decades before that. My goal is to provide YOU with a joyful, safe, conscious experience, whether you’re a birthing mother, a birth attendant, or someone seeking health advice.
I’m based mostly in Montreal, Canada. Fun facts? I have five sons, a bunch of daughters-in-love and a son-in-love. Two baby grandsons who are the loves of my life, and I’ve been married for a really long time.
I also love to run long distances, and in my spare time I play the clarinet.

I had the opportunity to work with Rivka during my pregnancy.
She offered me a container to emotionally process what was happening, and helped me focus my attention / intention on how I wanted to show up for this, my 5th pregnancy.
Rivka offered her counsel when prompted, but her true gift was in helping me figure out what I wanted. I continue to use the tools that she modelled for me and she really shifted how I understood birth in a social context. Rivka disintegrated the binaries of hospital birth vs indie birth and offered me a framework in where my choices and well-being were centered. In the end, I experienced a life altering birth, where I got to meet a whole, true version of myself. I don’t think that would have happened without the months of work we did together. EV
